🏃♂️ Running 13.1 Miles for a Brighter Future! 📚❤️
Every Mile Matters. Every Child Deserves an Education.
This year, I’m taking on a personal challenge — running a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) with Team Asha – RTP Chapter, but this journey is about much more than crossing the finish line!
I’m running to support Asha for Education, helping raise funds to build a school in the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India, and bring quality education to children from tribal families and underserved communities.
For many of these children, access to education is not a given — it’s an opportunity that can change their entire future. Together, we can help turn that opportunity into reality.
🎯 My Fundraising Goal: $800
I’m asking my friends, family, and community to be part of this journey. No contribution is too small!
❤️ $13.10 – Support my journey, a dollar for every mile!
❤️ $26.20 – Go the extra mile for education!
❤️ $50 or $100 – Make an even bigger impact!
I will put in the miles, but your generosity will help create opportunities for children to learn, dream, and succeed.
Whether you donate or share my fundraising page, your support means a lot to me and to the children we’re running for.
🙏 Let’s run toward a future where every child has a chance to learn!
We Run So They Can Read! 🏃♂️📚
Thank you for being part of my journey! ❤️
What is Asha ?
Asha for Education is a non-profit organization that works with grassroots projects in India that are focused on education. I’ve known about Asha for some time now and their work is meaningful and genuine, making solid impact to improve lives. Charity Navigator has given Asha their highest 4-star rating.
Please support my run
I’m grateful you are here and I could use your encouragement. Help me with my goal to raise funds for this cause. A single dollar goes a long way. Your contribution will mean hope for a child, creating life-long changes for their entire network.
Where will the money go ?
I hope to raise $800 (~$60/mile) for Vidyodaya in India. Vidyodaya School, located near Gudalur in the Nilgiris, TN, teaches mostly tribal children. Asha RTP supports operation of a school bus and construction of classroom.
Asha is a near-zero overhead organization. Every dollar donated will go to the project.
How much should I give ?
Motivate me for a mile or two? Anything counts and no amount is too small.
Each dollar educates someone needy in India and can help transform more than one life.
